A very special and a deeply spiritual day!
Special – We had a personal tour of Lambeth Palace, the home and office of the Archbishop of Canterbury, hosted by Sammy Wainaina.
Spiritual – following the tour I was given time to reflect and prayer in the Crypt Chapel, before sharing in 12.30pm Eucharist in the Lambeth Chapel.
Today gave me space to prayerfully contemplate God’s call to ministry. … See MoreSee Less

Can you remember the sermon?
This morning we worshipped in the local church.
A lovely service. They worship at 9am and 11am.

Worship this morning with one of the Parishes I have been following.
Opening hymn was ‘Come and Find the Quiet Centre’ by Shirley Erena Murray.
As a Downtown Church they know who they are – Progressive, Inclusive, and Creative.
The liturgy and the simple cantor-led music was superb.
Really enjoyed conversations after about shared experiences and learnings post-COVID, and the movement of reconstruction from evangelical collapse. A strength for us is Liturgy and Biblical depth.
