We will keep an eye out for other ways of being Anglican at the moment. Here are a couple of ideas to start of with.
Anglican Diocese of Waiapu has some great stuff on it’s Facebook site. Today’s Spiritual Practice is all about Gratitude and is hosted by Deborah Broome, Ministry Educator.
http://movementonline.org.nz/ This is from the Wellington Diocese and has a live service every Sunday morning.
The Daily Offices. A Facebook site that uses the NZ Prayer Book to share Morning at 7:30am, Midday at 12:30pm and Night Prayer at 8:30pm. This comes from Diocese of Auckland Young Anglicans for Social Justice.
Our good friend Bosco Peters at https://liturgy.co.nz/streaming-services-online-spiritual-resources-in-coronavirus-times has a collection of online services and resources on his page as well.
Don’t forget that Archbishop Philip invites us at 7 pm every Sunday that worship services are suspended, to light a candle and pray. He writes: Please light a candle in your home and pray with and for others. Pray for your families, your neighbours, our country, and those ill with the virus. Pray for our health professionals and all those on the frontline who are working tirelessly to care for our community. Pray for the lonely and the frightened. Pray for the courage and grace to be a comfort and a light to the world.
