REMEMBERing Anzac Day
from home
Saturday April 25th 2020 at 6am

ANZAC Day this year will not allow us the opportunity to mark it in the normal ways.
Now, in an effort to remember our parishioners who are named on the Cairn, we have created some resources for you to reflect on during this week and on ANZAC Day itself.
Zero parades this year to cenotaphs means that we have to find other ways of remembering those from our parish and families who went to war. The roll of honour that was used in Crimson Sounds a few years ago has been converted into a video file to watch.
At exactly 6am on Saturday 25th April, there will be a virtual dawn service broadcast on RNZ National. Stand in your lounge, your driveway or at your letterbox with the rest of the country.
Considering the legacy ANZAC Day has on our country, the #StandAtDawn campaign is a way we can pay respect and acknowledge those who have been and are called upon to support New Zealand in times of war, conflict and disasters.
